Steel structures of ships are continuously exposed to water, salt, weather conditions, mechanical stresses, and chemical effects. A robust and effective corrosion protection minimizes maintenance intervals and increases operational safety.

The solvent-free, extremely durable corrosion protection coating TEFRO®cor 150 SW-LV was specifically developed to meet the high demands of maritime conditions. It impresses with its exceptional adhesion and its high resistance to impact, abrasion, and chemicals. This high-performance coating is particularly suitable for ship components subjected to high mechanical and chemical stresses. The powerful one-coat system allows for high layer thicknesses and achieves the highest corrosion protection category CX (from 360 μm) in just one application. On a sufficiently roughened surface, the material interlocks firmly in the microscopic pores and depressions of the surface. This excellent adhesion reliably protects against underrusting in the event of damage.
