In May 2011 MEYER WERFT delivered the 122,000-gt Celebrity Silhouette to Celebrity Cruises (Miami, USA). The Celebrity Silhouette is the fourth ship out of a series of five cruise ships the shipyard is building for Celebrity. The Celebrity Silhouette can accommodate 2,886 passengers, who are taken care of by a crew of 1,271.
